Karate-Do
“Kara” is the Japanese for empty while “te” means hand and “Do” translates as the way, or path. Karate-Do is “The Way of the Empty Hand”.
 
Instructors

Sensei Bob Simpson - 3rd Dan, Instructor
Bob started Karate at the age of 40 and has studied under Shihan Goran Glucina for the majority of his 25 year karate training.

Bob competed in the first NZ championship and 2 world championships (Tokyo 1994 and Bali 2000) and has also trained in Canada and Australia.

The Warkworth Dojo cater for a wide range of capability, age and fitness.
