Karate-Do
“Kara” is the Japanese for empty while “te” means hand and “Do” translates as the way, or path. Karate-Do is “The Way of the Empty Hand”.
 
Instructors

Sensei Shotaro Enamoto - 4th Dan, Instructor
Sensei Shotaro (Sho as he likes to be called) trained in Japan until moving to NZ in 2000 at Shodan level. After training in NZ for 1 year, he returned to Japan where he graded and achieved 2nd Dan level. Sho then graded 3rd Dan by Hirokazu Kanazawa Kancho in 2004 at SKIF NZ. Sho recently graded 4th Dan by Hirokazu Kanazawa Kancho in Oct 2009 at SKIF NZ. He has been running his dojo in Queenstown since 2002.
